Geophysical surveys are conducted on the ground surface for the purpose of investigating subsurface soil, rock, and groundwater, and to locate Underground Storage Tanks (USTs), buried drums, underground utilities, rebar in concrete and other potential buried objects. Geophysical surveys provide information that cannot be obtained by other methods or with data that is readily available.

SCHUTZE & Associates, Inc. uses geophysical surveys as an additional aid in investigating soil and groundwater contamination, and to locate USTs during Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II Subsurface investigations. The data from the geophysical survey is analyzed using digital computer technology and then graphed for inclusion in our report.
